Ultrasonics
Magnus' sister company, Power Sonics, provides the ultrasonics for Magnus immersion agitation tanks. The ultrasonics cavitation distributes a very intense mechanical energy to reduce cleaning time and clean some soils that immersion agitation alone will not remove. Our ultrasonic application involves more than placing some transducers in a tank. Magnus uses the expertise of Power Sonics to integrate the ultrasonics and insure it is the right application for the situation. Ultrasonic tanks may employ a sequence of alternating immersion agitation and ultrasonics to provide the optimum cleaning. Power Sonics Ultrasonics is available integrated into Magnus immersion agitation systems as well as custom mono-rail or in line systems.
Magnus also offers systems that use the unique Power Sonics Radial Ultrasonic technology. This technology offers such a high ultrasonic energy density that it can clean parts at very high speeds. It can be used to clean parts one at a time in an in-line configuration (MTS) or can be used to clean continuous product such as wire, strip, and roll formed shapes.
