The Magnus Equipment immersion wash systems are used in the roto gravure, flexographic and off-set printing industry for ink removal from pans, trays, roller assemblies and other parts where it is necessary to clean the equipment to provide high quality, clean printing.
Typically the parts are washed in large baskets or containers. Standard machines are available to clean parts up to 78" long in loads up to 1,000 pounds. We have also designed custom washers up to 120" long for extremely long parts. Using detergent cleaners at temperatures up to 190° F, the ink and residue associated with it is thoroughly removed. The vigorous Magnus Equipment platform agitation may be enhanced with high volume liquid circulation through underwater flow eductors that can be aimed directly at the parts.
Steam heating through in tank heat transfer plates, or remote heaters using a circulating stream of hot oil work best in these applications. However, gas and low watt density electric heat are also available.
