Description
This Electronic Indicating Pressure Switch monitors the pressure of gases or liquids and triggers an electrical circuit based on a preset pressure level. It is commonly used in industrial automation to control pumps, activate alarms, activate compressors, or shut down machinery. Regular inspection and maintenance are recommended to ensure the pressure switch is operating properly. Signs of rust, moisture, or dirt inside the switch can interfere with proper operation. If the switch no longer responds to pressure changes, the system cycles too often or not at all, the pressure gauge shows the correct value but the switch does nothing, replacement may be required. DO NOT attempt any maintenance until all utility supplies have been disconnected and locked out.
