Description
A fusible link is a safety device used in electrical systems. Automatically close fire doors, windows, and lids in the event of a fire. High temperatures melt the solder bond between links, causing them to separate and release their load. Install with S-hooks or chain (not included). Some Industry standards require replacement of the fusible link every 6 months. It is important to regularly inspect and replace fusible links to prevent potential failures and safety hazards. DO NOT attempt any maintenance until all utility supplies have been disconnected and locked out.
