Description
Built to handle large multi-unit systems or single systems with high discharge requirements or remote installations. Installation requires a flooded setup; pump is NOT self-priming. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the pump will extend service life. Check the appearance of the pump regularly and remove any dirt and impurities on the pump. Make sure the pump surface is clean and the vents and radiators are unobstructed. Check the oil level and quality of the lubrication system to ensure that the grease is normal. Regularly check the sealing system, including mechanical seals and packing seals; replace worn or aged seals. Regularly check the temperature, vibration, and noise of the bearings to ensure normal operation; add lubricating oil or replace bearings as needed. Decreased suction power can indicate a need for pump replacement. If the pump filter becomes damaged or clogged, it should be replaced to maintain the efficiency of the equipment. DO NOT attempt any maintenance until all utility supplies have been disconnected and locked out.
