Nylon has good chemical resistance to organic solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, and fuels. Nylon fittings have poor chemical resistance to strong acids and bases and are not recommended for use with ammonium, boric acid, calcium, sulfuric acid, or hydrochloric acid.
