Consider replacing a momentary push button switch when you notice the switch is not functioning properly, such as not clicking or not providing a complete circuit. Additionally, if the switch is frequently failing to activate or is experiencing wear and tear, it may be time to replace it. DO NOT attempt any maintenance until all utility supplies have been disconnected and locked out.
